this morning, i was online and saw arturo's nick. its been a longlong time since i last talked to him and i miss him. i will never forget the last day in us during the closing ceremony. i was in tears and he walked up to me, and passed me a handekerchief and told me, melissa, dont cry, i will see you soon. at gyls hopefully. he told me to visit him in portugal when i miss him and that whenever i watch football, i must support portugal and think of him. now, whatever related to portugal i am reminded of him. oh man, those were the crazy 2 weeks one year ago. so his nick was: we come to love not by finding a perfect person but by learning how to see an imperfect person perfectly. how apt for this period. its something which i have discovered recently, but was unable to pen it down. oh well, its what i said, redefining my expectations so that he will appear to be perfect.

oh well, math beckons. i am so tempted to laze this entire weekend away but i have too much stuff to do. cambodia fundraising, math portfolio, business ia, econs ia, application form to fill and the list never ends. argghh. okay, i will vow to get all these done by mon morning before school even if it means not sleeping tonight and tomorrow night. okay, i need the determination. smile melly smile. its a beautiful day today. nothing is going to ruin it. except for perhaps math portfolio.
